As a vital base of high-level talent training, research and development of applied technology, high-tech product development and high-level social services in Jilin Province, Changchun University of Technology is a provincial key university primarily focusing on engineering with multidisciplinary mutual support and coordinated development of engineering, management, literature, science, economics, law, education and arts.

Established in 1952, the initial name of Changchun University of Technology was Changchun Automobile Industry School, which was found for the construction of China First Automobile Works Group. The university consists of three campuses, Nanhu, Linyuan and Beihu, with a total area of 1.38 million square meters, 21,098 full-time students, and 1,744 faculty members, among whom there are 191 professors, 84 PH.D. supervisors and 563 MA student supervisors. The university has 17 colleges, 5 first-level doctoral programs, 20 first-level master’s programs and 53 undergraduate programs. Built 65 years ago, Changchun University of Technology has trained more than 170,000 graduates for China and has won the general approval of their employers. In the recent 6 years, the university undertakes more than 1900 scientific research projects of various types.

Being one of the first batch of universities validated by Ministry of Education of China for conditionally accepting international students, Changchun University of Technology has established friendly and cooperative relations with universities and scientific research institutions in UK, USA, Japan, South Korea and Russia, exchanging students, experts and scholars for international academic exchange and scientific research collaboration. Besides, the university has also partnered with University of Auckland and Portland State University in USA to host 4 undergraduate education programs.Currently, Changchun University of Technology has established inter-school friendly relations with 63 universities such as University of Missouri in USA.

长春工业大学简介

长春工业大学是一所以工为主，工、管、文、理、经、法、教育、艺术等多学科相互支撑、协调发展的省属重点大学，是吉林省高层次人才培养、应用技术研发、高新技术产品研制、高水平社会服务的重要基地。

学校始建于1952年，初期是国家为筹建中国第一汽车制造厂而创办的长春汽车工业学校。学校现有南湖、林园、北湖三个校区，总占地面积138万平方米，全日制在校学生21098名，教职员工1744名。学校设有17个学院，5个一级学科博士点，20个一级学科硕士点，53个本科专业。现有教师中教授191名，博士生指导教师84名，硕士生指导教师563名。建校65年来，共为国家培养了17万余名毕业生，受到用人单位的普遍好评，毕业生就业率始终在省内高校中位于前列。六年来，承担各类科研课题1900余项。

学校是教育部首批审定有条件接收外国留学生的高校之一，先后与英、美、日、韩、俄等国的高校、科研机构建立友好合作关系，互派留学生，互派专家、学者进行国际学术交流和科研协作，并与美国奥克兰大学和波特兰州立大学合作举办本科教育项目4项。目前，已先后与美国密苏里大学等63所院校建立了校际友好关系。

目前，我校优势特色学科主要包括：机械工程、材料科学与工程、化学工程与技术、统计学和化学等。学校正在为把学校建成国内一流的地方工业大学而努力奋斗。
